Let me editorialize for a moment. I don't think I have ever seem a team play as well as this team is playing right now. I have coached many teams, I have played on State Champion teams, but I have never seen a team gel together, even when playing as two separate units, as 2007 Sodium. When Ronnie mentioned this team is 'Special' I think we all know exactly what she is talking about. Have we ever seen passing this crisp? or patience with the ball? or attacking the goal and FINISHING!?! Can't you just sense a great feeling of pride every time they take the field?! ALOHA! I would have to say that right now these lady warriors are nearing their peak. They are playing so good it is a joy to watch them take the field. They are confident, patient, relentless and dominating.

As always, thanks for the great blog entries. It is so nice to have a central place to revisit the amazing accomplishments of our Sodium team.
I'd also like to thank each and every person on the Sodium team for their incredible effort on the field this weekend in Corvallis. It was a true pleasure watching you dominate the tournament. I was so impressed by the determination and hard effort from everyone - all the way through the final game. Wow! You ladies really know how to play like champions!
